American Express Executive Howard Grosfield Joins New York Life’s Board

New York Life has appointed Howard Grosfield, Group President of U.S. Consumer Services at American Express, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Grosfield will serve on the Audit and Insurance & Operations committees. He leads a global team at American Express overseeing the U.S. Consumer Card portfolio, American Express Travel, Centurion Lounge network, and U.S. Consumer Banking operations. He also oversees Enterprise Technology Services and Global Advertising and Brand Management. Over more than 20 years with American Express, he has held senior roles in consumer marketing and global premium services. Grosfield holds degrees in business and law from Western University in Canada.
