Giuseppe Marsocci Appointed CEO Of Giorgio Armani Following The Founder’s Passing

Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani has appointed Giuseppe Marsocci as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. He succeeds Founder Giorgio Armani, who passed away in September.

Marsocci has been with the company for 23 years, serving most recently as Global Chief Commercial Officer. He will oversee the planned sale of a 15% stake in the company, with priority given to groups such as LVMH, L’Oreal, and EssilorLuxottica, as outlined in Armani’s will. Previously, he has held positions like Global Business Development Director at Fila and Sales & Marketing Manager at Gruppo Finanziario Tessile. He has over 35 years of experience in the luxury fashion industry.
