Natarajan Chandrasekaran Reappointed As Tata Sons Chairman For Third Term

Tata Trusts approved the reappointment of Natarajan Chandrasekaran (Chandra) as Chairman of Tata Sons.

Chandrasekaran joined the Board of Tata Sons in October 2016 and became Chairman in January 2017. Before this, he spent 30 years at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), serving eight years as CEO & MD. At Tata Sons, he has pursued the “One Tata” strategy and expanded the group into semiconductors, electronics, consumer internet, mobile technology, battery giga-factories, and aviation with the acquisition of Air India. Chandrasekaran serves on multiple international advisory councils and boards, including Singapore’s EDB and IMF advisory panels. He has received the Padma Bhushan, France’s Légion d’Honneur, and an Honorary Knighthood of the British Empire.
