Former HSBC Banker Wang Cheung Appointed As Managing Director Of J.P. Morgan Private Bank

J.P. Morgan Private Bank has appointed Wang Cheung as Managing Director (MD) and Team Lead for its China team, based in Hong Kong.

In his new role, Cheung will focus on serving ultra-high net worth clients in the region. He brings over two decades of wealth management experience, having previously worked at HSBC’s private banking division for three years, most recently as head of the southern China region. Earlier in his career, Cheung held roles at Credit Suisse and Daiwa Capital Markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard University.
