
Rajiv Shah Appointed As CFO Of Music Broadcast; Abraham Thomas Appointed As CEO
Rajiv Shah has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (CFO & KMP) of Music Broadcast Limited with effect from August 20, 2025.
Further, Abraham Thomas has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and KMP of the company with effect from September 1, 2025. He will replace Ashit Kukian, CEO and KMP, who has resigned, effective August 20, 2025, to take up some better opportunities outside the organisation.
Shah brings over 25 years of financial experience across diverse finance and accounting leadership roles. Since 2022, he has been overseeing Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy at Radio City. Prior to this, he worked with leading multinational organisations such as Al Turki Cement Products LLC and Perrigo and also served as Chief Manager at ICICI Bank. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in financial management, investor engagement, and governance, contributing to sustainable business growth. Shah is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Thomas brings over three decades of leadership experience across broadcasting, print, and digital media in India, China, and South Asia. He has held prominent leadership roles, including CEO of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. (BIG FM) and Music Broadcast Ltd. (Radio City), where he led business transformation and strengthened market position. He co-founded One Network Entertainment, a digital video venture, and has previously worked with RED FM, MTV Asia, Sony Entertainment Television, and the Indian Express. Thomas holds an MBA in Marketing from IMDR, Pune, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Bombay.
