Mihir Prakash Bajoria To Succeed James Leacock McIntosh As MD Of IFGL Refractories

Mihir Prakash Bajoria will assume the office of the Managing Director (MD) at IFGL Refractories Limited, effective September 1, 2025.

Bajoria will succeed James Leacock McIntosh, who is set to retire from the same position.

Bajoria has been managing the operations of the company’s overseas subsidiaries for over a decade. He serves as the Executive Chairman of the company’s UK subsidiary, Monocon International Refractories Ltd., and is also a Director of other UK subsidiaries, including IFGL Monocon Holdings Ltd., Monocon Overseas Ltd., and Goricon Metallurgical Services Ltd. Bajoria holds a diploma in politics and international relations from Oxford Brookes University, UK.

McIntosh has been the MD of the company since September 2021. He previously served as President of the company’s wholly owned US subsidiary, EI Ceramics LLC, except for a sabbatical between September 2014 and September 2015. McIntosh holds an M.Sc. in marketing from Glasgow University, a postgraduate diploma from Paisley University, and an HNC in mechanical and process engineering from Clydebank Technical College, Scotland.
