Rahul Rakesh Agrawal Replaces Sandhya Subramanyam As Independent Director Of Sundaram Brake Linings

Rahul Rakesh Agrawal has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) of Sundaram Brake Linings Limited (one of the subsidiary companies of TVS Group), effective August 4, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Agrawal replaces Sandhya Subramanyam, who retires upon completion of her term, effective August 5, 2025.

Agrawal is Managing Director (MD) of Styrenix Performance Materials Ltd., headquartered in Vadodara with operations in India and Thailand. He leads Styrenix’s production of Absolac (ABS) and Absolan (SAN), supplying automotive, electronics, healthcare, household goods, toys, construction, and packaging sectors. He is the Director and Promoter of Shiva Pharmachem Ltd. He also promoted Shiva Performance Materials Pvt. Ltd., which makes acrylic resins for inks, coatings, semiconductors, and optical fibre applications and supplies the graphic arts and toner sectors worldwide. Agrawal holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
