
Adrian Mardell To Retire As Jaguar Land Rover CEO; Successor To Be Named
Adrian Mardell is set to retire as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) after serving three years in the top role and spending 35 years at the company.
Mardell previously served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at JLR from June 2019, leading the company’s financial management to support growth and shareholder value. In 2008, he became Deputy CFO and Operations Controller, later taking on the role of Chief Transformation Officer. In that position, he launched two company-wide programs: ‘Charge,’ aimed at short-term profit and cash improvements, and ‘Accelerate,’ focused on long-term operational efficiencies. Throughout his career, Mardell was known for his transparent and motivational leadership, mentoring teams and driving business transformation, while sharing his passion for finance and strategic growth across the organisation.
