Fineotex Chemical Reappoints Surendrakumar Tibrewala As CMD & Sanjay Tibrewala As Whole-Time Director
Surendrakumar Tibrewala has been reappointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Fineotex Chemical Limited, effective October 1, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Further, Sanjay Tibrewala, currently serving as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, has been reappointed as Whole-Time Director of the company with effect from October 1, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
The company also reappointed Dr. Sunil Waghmare and CS Bindu Darshan Shah as Independent Directors with effect from October 31, 2025, and July 14, 2025, respectively, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Surendrakumar Tibrewala began his professional journey at the young age of 20. With over four decades of industry experience, he has built deep expertise in the manufacturing of speciality chemicals and enzymes. His work spans across a wide range of sectors, including textiles and garments, construction, water treatment, leather, paper, paint, and adhesives. Under his leadership, the company has established a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and industry-specific chemical solutions. Tibrewala is a commerce graduate from R.A. Poddar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University, and a law graduate of Government Law College.
Sanjay Tibrewala has played a key role in driving Fineotex’s growth trajectory, helping position the company as a leading player in the speciality chemical industry. His technical expertise, combined with financial acumen, has been instrumental in shaping the company’s innovation-led and performance-driven approach. He is a commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, University of Mumbai. He further pursued technical specialisation in textile processing and chemistry from the SASMIRA University, Mumbai.
Dr. Waghmare is a distinguished professional with a Ph.D. from the University of Pune and extensive expertise in quality assurance, quality control, analytical development, safety, legal, and regulatory compliance. He has made significant contributions to the field of chemistry and is an active member of several professional societies associated with the discipline. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Waghmare has pursued post-doctoral research at reputed institutions and universities, further deepening his knowledge and advancing innovation in chemical sciences.
Shah is a practising Company Secretary with several years of experience in corporate law and governance. Known for her dedication and professionalism, she has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to numerous companies, guiding them through complex regulatory and compliance frameworks. Her deep expertise spans company secretarial practices, Corporate Governance, and legal advisory. In addition to her core practice, Shah has also worked with an international bank, bringing valuable experience in the banking and finance sectors.
