Sumit Khandelwal Replaces Sujoy Dutta As CFO Of UCO Bank

State-run UCO Bank has named Sumit Khandelwal as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately, according to a regulatory filing. He replaces Sujoy Dutta in the role.

Khandelwal previously served as the general manager and zonal head of the bank’s New Delhi zone. He has over 15 years of experience in the banking sector. He has worked across various corporate branches, zones, and departments of UCO Bank. He holds bachelor’s degrees in commerce and law and is a qualified chartered accountant, cost accountant, and a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB).

Dutta is currently serving as the General Manager of Corporate Credit and CFO at UCO Bank. With extensive experience across key banking functions, he has played diverse roles during his tenure with the bank. He has previously handled portfolios in treasury, credit analysis, and trade finance, including an overseas assignment at UCO Bank’s Hong Kong centre. He has also served as Branch Head at various locations and led the New Delhi Zone as Zonal Head, overseeing 83 branches.
