Anjali Bansal Concludes Her Tenure As Independent Director Of Voltas

Anjali Bansal completed her term as Non-Executive Independent Director of Voltas Limited and, accordingly, ceased to be a Director of the company effective March 09, 2025.

Bansal has been an Independent Director on the Board of Voltas since March 2015. She is the founder of Avaana Capital, a firm that invests in technology and innovation-led start-ups focused on climate action and sustainability. Anjali has mentored several successful start-ups, including Delhivery, Urban Company, and Nykaa. Previously, she was the Non-Executive Chairperson of Dena Bank, where she led the bank’s resolution process and its eventual merger with Bank of Baroda. She is a prominent figure in Corporate Governance and women’s empowerment and serves on multiple Boards and advisory councils.

Bansal holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s in international finance and business from Columbia University.
