Sudha Suresh & Anita Ramachandran Reappointed As Independent Directors Of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank
Sudha Suresh and Anita Ramachandran have been reappointed as Independent Directors of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited with effect from April 01, 2025, and July 01, 2025, respectively, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Suresh is a finance professional with over two decades of experience in private and public companies and a decade as a practising chartered accountant. She is the founding partner of S. Rao & Associates and the founder of Mani Capital. She served as MD & CEO (2017-2018) and CFO (2008-2017) at Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd. and has held CFO roles in other companies. She is an Independent Director at Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Ltd. Her expertise includes fiscal management, IPOs, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. She is a Life Member of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka and the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
Ramachandran is a Human Resource (HR) expert with over 40 years of experience as a management consultant. She began her career in 1976 at AF Ferguson & Co., the KPMG network company in India, as its first woman consultant. In 1995, she founded Cerebrus Consultants, focusing on HR advisory services. She currently serves on the Boards of Grasim, Metropolis Healthcare, Happiest Minds, Blue Star, Ultratech Cement Ltd., and FSN Ecommerce Ventures Ltd. She is recognised for her work in reward management and HR transformation across sectors. She also mentors private equity firms and start-ups in their growth journey. She has been an Independent Director on various Boards for over 20 years, across multiple industries.
