Nivedita Ravindra Sarda Steps Down As Independent Director Of Urja Global

Nivedita Ravindra Sarda, Non-Executive Independent Director of Urja Global Limited, has resigned, with effect from February 17, 2025, due to not being in position to devote time to the affairs of the company.

Sarda is a gold medallist Chartered Accountant, Certified Treasury Manager, and Corporate Lawyer with over 25 years of experience in law firms and financial institutions. She worked as Manager of Corporate Finance at IDBI Limited from 1999 to 2005, specialising in debt and capital restructuring. In 2007, she founded Vedanta Law Chambers, where she serves as a legal mentor, advisor, and solicitor for government and private entities. She provides expertise in business structuring, takeovers, joint ventures, and international trade finance. She also advises companies in the US, UK, Singapore, Germany, and Saudi Arabia on international structures, investments, trade, and regulatory compliance.
