Hannah Routh Appointed As Head Of Sustainability & ESG Of BDO

BDO, the global public accounting, tax, and advisory firm, has appointed Hannah Routh as the head of its sustainability and ESG practice in the UK, effective February 03, 2025.

The firm aims to strengthen its advisory services in ESG reporting, climate advisory, supply chain due diligence, and sustainable finance. Routh has nearly three decades of experience in sustainability and climate-focused roles across Europe, Southern Africa, and Asia. She previously held leadership positions at Deloitte and PwC, where she developed sustainability and climate change advisory businesses. Leigh Treacy, Head of BDO’s Consulting, Risk & Outsourcing business, emphasised the firm’s commitment to supporting clients in minimising environmental impact and improving efficiency.
