ABB Appoints Claudia Nemat To Its Board Of Directors; Lars Förberg Set To Step Down

ABB has announced changes to its Board of Directors, proposing Claudia Nemat for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 27, 2025, while Lars Förberg will step down.

ABB Chairman Peter Voser thanked Förberg for his contributions and welcomed Nemat, highlighting her expertise in digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). Nemat has been a member of Deutsche Telekom’s Management Board since 2011, overseeing Technology and Innovation since 2017. She previously worked at McKinsey for 17 years and served on the Boards of Lanxess AG and Airbus SE. The Board members standing for re-election include Peter Voser, David Constable, Frederico Fleury Curado, Johan Forssell, Denise C. Johnson, Jennifer Xin-Zhe Li, Geraldine Matchett, David Meline, and Mats Rahmström.
