Milind Shripad Sarwate, George Zacharias, and Chinni Krishnan Ranganathan have ceased to be Independent Directors of Matrimony.com Limited upon completion of their term with effect from January 26, 2025.
Milind Shripad Sarwate is the Founder and CEO of Increate, an advisory platform focused on value creation, governance, and ESG. He serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Asian Paints, Mahindra Finance, CEAT, Nykaa, and Hexaware, specialising in audit committee roles. With over 40 years of experience, including leadership roles as CFO and CHRO at Marico and Godrej, he has been part of listed company Boards since 2005, previously serving at Mindtree and International Paper.
Sarwate is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Company Secretary, and a CII-Fulbright Fellow.
George Zacharias brings over four decades of industry experience across diverse leadership roles. He began his career as a Marketing Officer at Saint-Gobain Abrasives Inc. and went on to hold key positions, including President at Madura Garments, President and Chief Operating Officer at Sify Technologies Ltd., Managing Director at Yahoo, and Board Member at iStream India. Zacharias holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Nagpur University and a PGDM from XLRI Jamshedpur.
