Dish TV India Appoints Mayank Talwar And Gurinder Singh As Independent Directors

The Board of Directors of Dish TV India Limited had inter-alia considered and approved the appointment of Mayank Talwar and Gurinder Singh as Independent Directors of the company with immediate effect.

The members of Dish TV India Limited have not approved the appointment of Amit Singhal and Parag Agarawal as Independent Directors of the company. Amit Singhal and Parag Agarawal vacated the office on December 12, 2024.

Mayank Talwar is a senior finance professional with over 24 years of experience in the IT/ITES sector. A Chartered Accountant, he specialises in financial planning, internal controls, and operational efficiency. With expertise in financial strategy, revenue maximisation, and managing complex systems, he has led financial functions for clients across diverse sectors. His experience spans roles at Steria India, IBM, and ACC Limited, where he implemented robust financial controls and improved P&L outcomes. A graduate of Delhi University, he is also IFRS certified from ACCA, UK.

Gurinder Singh has over 24 years of experience in the industrial sector, focusing on revamping projects across refineries, fertiliser, chemical, and petrochemical plants. He has successfully managed over 250 projects, specialising in project and contract management. As Director of Esteem Projects Pvt. Ltd., he has led high-profile EPC projects and driven business growth. Known for his commercial negotiation skills and commitment to quality, he has built strong relationships with Fortune 500 clients. A commerce graduate from Delhi University, he emphasises sustainable practices and continuous improvement in QHSE standards.
