Lipi Todi, Anoop Krishna, and Sanjay Mathur Retire as Independent Directors of Finolex Cables
Lipi Todi, Anoop Krishna, and Sanjay Mathur ceased to serve as Additional Directors in the category of Non-Executive Independent Directors on the Board of Finolex Cables Limited, effective November 14, 2024.
Lipi Todi is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 13 years of professional experience. She currently works with Elkem, a Norwegian multinational, as Company Secretary and Manager of Finance for its Indian entity, Elkem South Asia Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, Lipi is an active member of the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee. Her career began with the IFB Group, and she has since built a strong reputation in finance and governance.
Anoop Krishna brings over 42 years of experience in the financial sector. He began his career as a probationary officer with the State Bank of India (SBI) and later joined Paisalo Digital Ltd., a mid-sized NBFC, as Executive Director. At Paisalo, he played a pivotal role in forming co-lending partnerships with six PSU banks, including SBI. He has also served as a Senior Advisor with Grant Thornton (GT) in Mumbai and worked with Luthra & Luthra. A graduate with honours in humanities, Anoop holds various executive management qualifications and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Sanjay Mathur is a seasoned business leader with over 34 years of experience, including 19 years in board-level roles across the oil & gas, chemicals, and FMCG sectors. He served as Managing Director at Vesuvius-Foseco Group, a public company, for 14 years and held leadership roles with Shell International Petroleum Group, including as Managing Director of Pennzoil Quaker State India Ltd. Sanjay is a Life Member of the Institute of Directors, a Member of the CEO Forum at CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), a former President of the Great Die Casting Technology Forum (GDCTECH), and an ex-member of the Rotary Club, Pune Downtown. His extensive academic qualifications include a Master’s in Marketing (Retail & Wholesale) from Monash University, Australia, a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering & Technology from Panjab University, a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA, UK, an Advanced Management Programme from Melbourne Business School, Australia, and a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence (AI)—Strategics for Leading Business Transformation from Northwestern Kellogg University, USA (2020).
