Goodyear India’s Board Appoints Varsha Chaudhary Jain As Chairperson & Whole-Time Director

The Board of Directors of Goodyear India Limited has approved the appointment of Varsha Chaudhary Jain as an Additional Director and Whole Time Director (Key Management Personnel) with effect from November 12, 2024, for five years. Subject to the approval of the shareholders. Jain has also been appointed as Chairperson of the Board.

The Board took note of the resignation tendered by Nitesh Kumar Jain from the position of Chairman of the Board and Non-Executive Non-Independent Director w.e.f. November 11, 2024, due to preoccupation and other personal commitments.

Varsha Chaudhary Jain is the Head of Legal & Compliance at Goodyear India. She has over 27 years of experience with law firms and large multinational corporations in the FMCG and Healthcare sectors. Jain holds a degree in law from the University of Delhi and has extensive experience in Law, Compliance, Governance, and Corporate Affairs. In the past, she has worked with Hindustan Unilever Ltd., where she was the legal lead for the Foods & Refreshments Division. She has also worked with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd., Amway India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Kohinoor Foods Ltd., and HB Stockholdings Ltd.
