Ashwin Ramanathan Joins Peninsula Land As Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Peninsula Land Limited approved the appointment of Ashwin Ramanathan as an Additional Independent Director effective from November 7, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholder of the company.

Ashwin Ramanathan began his career with ICICI Bank and later joined AZB & Partners. He has advised clients on their key deals, such as Convergent Finance on investments in Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked with Jyoti International, Hindustan Foods, and Camlin Fine Sciences. Previously, Ramanathan worked with Fairfax on acquisitions, The Royal Bank of Scotland on asset sales, KKR on structured credit transactions, and ING Vysya Bank on its merger with Kotak Mahindra Bank, along with various private equity investments. He was recognised by The Economic Times as one of India’s 40 hottest business leaders under the age of 40 in 2017. He has graduated with a B.A. LLB. (Hons.) degree from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
