Noel Tata Is Set Joins Tata Sons’ Board

Noel Tata, Chairman of Tata Trusts, is set to join the Board of Tata Sons. Tata Trusts holds a 66% stake in Tata Sons, and Noel Tata will be the only member from the founding Tata family to serve on both the Tata Sons and Tata Trusts boards.

With his appointment, Tata Trusts will now have three representatives on the Tata Sons Board: Vice Chairmen Vijay Singh and Venu Srinivasan, along with Noel Tata.

As a trustee of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Noel will now oversee Tata Trusts, which holds the majority stake in Tata Sons. His extensive experience within the Tata Group, where he chairs Trent, Voltas, and Tata International, made him a natural choice for this leadership role.
