CRISIL’s President Jan Larsen Resigned

Jan Larsen, President and Head of Global Research and Risk Solutions and member of the Senior Management of the Company, has tendered his resignation on October 9, 2024. The company has accepted the resignation, and his last working day would be February 28, 2025.

Jan is an experienced leader in financial sector consulting, having assisted banks, insurers, and asset managers in producing and protecting value. As the leader of Moody’s Analytics’ Banking Advisory Practice for the Americas, he oversaw over 100 projects centred on credit risk transformation, stress testing, CECL transition, and portfolio management. Jan worked at NERA Economic Consulting for seven years before joining Moody’s, where he helped financial firms handle regulatory and legal obstacles. He has a Master of Science in Physics from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from Reed College.
