Finolex Industries’ accepts MD Ajit Venkataraman’s resignation and announces Board Changes

The Board of Directors of Finolex Industries Limited has approved the appointments of Debabrata Sarkar, Vijay N Bhatt, Aditya Sapru, Rajesh B Rathi, and Munesh Khanna as Additional Directors in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director w.e.f. September 19, 2024. Subject to approval of the shareholders.

The Board accepted the resignation tendered by Ajit Venkataraman, Managing Director, w.e.f. November 20, 2024.

The company has also announced the reappointment of Ritu P. Chhabria as a Director. Reappointments of Bhumika L. Batra and Dr. Deepak R. Parikh as Independent Directors for five years commencing from September 20, 2024.

Reappointment of Pradeep R. Rathi as an Independent Director for five years commencing from September 20, 2024, and for continuation of his term beyond May 202028, as an Independent Director on account of attaining the age of 75 years.

Reappointment of Anami N. Roy as an Independent Director for five years commencing from September 20, 2024, and for continuation of his term beyond May 15, 2025, as an Independent Director on account of attaining the age of 75 years.
