Bannari Amman Sugars’ Independent Director M.P. Viyayakumar Has Retired

The Non-Executive Independent Directors of Bannari Amman Sugars Limited, M.P. Vijayakumar, T. Gundan, and A.K. Perumalsamy, have completed their second terms with effect from September 14, 2024.

M.P. Vijayakumar is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, and he has held several important positions in the Tamil Nadu state government. He is a Chairman and Independent Director of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation; Trustee of Public Charitable Trust; Independent Director of Roots Multiclean Ltd.; and Founder Trustee of Bharathi Charitable Trust. He holds a degree from PSG College of Arts and Science and a bachelor’s degree from Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
