Arun Verma Completed His Second Term As Independent Director Of Equitas Small Finance Bank

Arun Kumar Verma, following the completion of his second consecutive term, ceased to be an Independent Director of Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited on September 3, 2024. During his tenure, Verma chaired the Audit Committee of the Board and was a member of several key committees, including the Risk Management Committee, the Policy Formulation Committee, the Special Committee for Monitoring High Value Frauds, and the Stakeholders Relationship Committee. He is currently the Chairman of the East India Regional Council at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has been a Partner at Venkataraman & Verma since 1982. Verma has also served as Chairman of Bhubaneswar ICAI and as a Non-Executive Director at The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. Additionally, he held the position of Director at Sanjeevni Impex Pvt. Ltd. He completed his graduate studies at Utkal University and his undergraduate studies at Sambalpur University.
