
The Board of Goodyear India has appointed Gajender Singh as Whole-Time Director for five years
Gajender Singh has been appointed as a Whole-Time Director (Key Management Personnel) of Goodyear India Limited, with effect from September 2, 2024, for a period of five years. Subject to the approval of the shareholders by means of a postal ballot.
The Board has approved the appointment of Ganga Nandan Mishra as VP, Farm and Commercial PBU (Senior Management Personnel), effective August 14, 2024. He replaced Anuj Thaka, who resigned.
Lastly, the Board took note that Sujit Guha, Head-Supply Chain, India (Senior Management Personnel) of the company, will be transitioning to a different role within the Goodyear group effective September 2, 2024. He shall accordingly cease to be a Senior Management Personnel of the company effective the same date.
Gajender Singh has more than two decades of experience in the supply chain. He has been with Goodyear for around twelve years in various roles across the Asia-Pacific region, including India. He also has experience in implementing logistics and planning solutions tools and automations (D&A) to enhance operational efficiencies. Prior to Goodyear, Singh was associated with Castrol India Ltd. as Manager Logistics Optimisation. He has worked with JCB India Ltd., Honda Motor Company, and Trelleborg Automotive and Sealing Solution. He has a postgraduate diploma in materials management from IIMM.
