Anisha Motwani Resigns From Welspun Living Board To Avoid Conflict Of Interest
Anisha Motwani has resigned from the position of Independent Director of Welspun Living Limited, with effect from August 12, 2024. In her resignation letter she has cited a potential conflict of interest. She said that she has recently joined a company’s Board which could have future aspirations in the similar line of business as Welspun Living.
Anisha Motwani is the author of “Storm the Norm,” and she has more than three decades of experience in the fields of advertising, auto manufacturing, finance, and health services. She serves on the Board of Advisors of the Indian Institute of Health & Medical Research and as an Independent Board Director at Godrej Finance, Philips Domestic Appliances, MG Motor, Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd., and Abbot Health Solutions Ltd. She is a strategic advisor at the World Bank Group. Earlier, she worked with L&T Investments, Max Group of Companies, and PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd. She has completed her Bachelor of Science from Sophiya College, Ajmer, and an MBA from the University of Rajasthan.
