Rekha Sethi completes Her Tenure as Independent Director of CESC

Rekha Sethi has completed her second and final term as an Independent Director of CESC Ltd. and consequently ceased to hold the position within the company as of the close of business hours on May 29, 2024.

Sethi, aged 50, currently serves as the Director General of the All India Management Association (AIMA), a prominent organisation in India’s management landscape. She embarked on her professional journey in 1985 at the Centre for the Development of Telematics (C-Dot) and subsequently spent 17 years at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). During her tenure, she spearheaded endeavours to organise high-profile international events aimed at advancing India’s economic interests. Sethi’s efforts have significantly elevated AIMA’s public visibility, attracting top industry leaders and policymakers to engage with the organisation.

Having earned a degree in English literature, Sethi further pursued her academic interests by obtaining a postgraduate diploma in Advertising and Marketing.
