Dalmia Bharat Sugar Appoints Pankaj Rastogi as Chief Executive Director, Piyush Gupta is new CFO

The Board of Directors of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Limited has approved the appointment of Pankaj Rastogi as a Whole-time Director and the Chief Executive Director with effect from May 14, 2024. He replaced Bharat Bhushan Mehta, who will superannuate as Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from September 30, 2024, due to his age and other personal commitments.

The Board has also approved the appointment of Piyush Gupta as the Chief Financial Officer, with effect from October 1, 2024. He will replace Anil Kataria, who is set to retire on September 30, 2024.

Neeraj Chandra is appointed as an Independent Director for a term of five years, with effect from May 14, 2024. Ms. Amita Misra has been reappointed as an Independent Director for five years, with effect from July 10, 2024.

Appointment of Abhishek Baderia as the Head of Human Resources of the company, with effect from September 1, 2024, to replace Piyush Thapliyal.

Independent Director Panchpakesan Kannan will retire on completion of his second term at the conclusion of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
