Raul Rebello Appointed as Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited has informed the stock exchange about the appointment of Raul Rebello as the Managing Director and CEO with effect from April 30, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders, following the superannuation of Ramesh Iyer, Vice Chairman and Managing Director with effect from April 29, 2024.

Raul Rebello, an accomplished banker, has experience in Rural Banking and Financial Inclusion. Assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer at Mahindra & Mahindra Financial in September 2021, he has spearheaded the company’s growth and evolution adeptly over the last 19 months. Prior to Mahindra Finance, he held the positions of EVP and Head of Rural Lending and Financial Inclusion at Axis Bank. During his 19-year tenure at Axis Bank, Raul oversaw pivotal business sectors such as Rural lending, Farmer funding, Gold loans, MSME lending, Commodity loans, Tractor and Farm Equipment lending, Agri-Value chain Deposits, Payments & Insurance. He also pioneered the launch of hybrid digital-physical tools and customer experiences, such as Aadhar Pay.
