Whirlpool Of India Appoints Harita Gupta As Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Whirlpool of India Limited has approved the appointment of Harita Gupta as Independent Director for a term of five years, with effect from February 1, 2024. Anuj Lall is appointed as Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain, with effect from December 18, 2023. The Board has also approved the reappointment of Rahul Bhatnagar and Pradeep Jyoti Banerjee as Independent Directors.

Harita Gupta, 62, has experience spanning around 40 years. She has played a key role in managing and expanding global business and the digitisation journey of various companies. She is currently working as Senior Vice President of Sutherland Global Services. She has previously worked for companies like Microsoft Corporation and NIIT Technologies. She is on the board of Macrotech Developers Limited and IndiaFirst Life Insurance. She holds a Master’s degree in science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.

Anuj Lall, 55, the new Vice President for Integrated Supply Chain, has overall experience of more than 30 years in supply chain management, manufacturing management and leading transformational strategic projects. Lall joins the company from P&G. During his tenure at P&G, he has played an essential role in the transformation of complex businesses and ventures and driving growth across the supply chain. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur.
