Rajeev Kumar Singhal Appointed as Executive Director of GAIL (India)

Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Executive Director at GAIL (India) Limited, is appointed as Director (Business Development) by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, effective from November 28, 2023. Having joined GAIL in 1989 as an Assistant Executive Engineer, Singhal brings over three decades of experience, showcasing expertise in various areas such as natural gas operations, LNG sourcing, marketing, and business development. His achievements include successful US LNG marketing to six fertiliser plants, renegotiation of LNG contracts, leading acquisitions, and establishing India’s first Small Scale LNG project. Holding a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT BHU Varanasi and a Diploma in Business and Finance-ICFAI, Singhal has played a pivotal role in GAIL’s strategic ventures.
