Alok Gupta named as new MD of Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD)

Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD), has appointed Alok Gupta as its new CEO and Managing Director. Gupta previously worked at Essar Capital, where he was in charge of technology and services. He has more than 30 years of experience in companies like Dabur, United Spirits, and Cafe Coffee Day. Shekhar Ramamurthy, the former MD of United Breweries, will remain on the board in the role of Executive Deputy Chairman.
