Sridhar Iyengar to retire from Dr Reddy’s board

Sridar Iyengar the Independent Director of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited will retire from his position on 31 July 2023.  The Company officially announced it on 26 July 2023.

Sridar Iyengar is an independent mentor investor in early-stage start-ups and companies. Earlier, he was a senior partner with KPMG in the US and UK and also served for three years as the Chairman & CEO of KPMG’s operations in India. For more than 38 years, he has worked in the United Kingdom, the United States and India with a large number of companies, advising them on strategy and other issues. Iyengar was the Chairman on the Board of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited, and is a Director on Boards of AverQ Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from Calcutta University, India and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
