Pirojshaw Aspi Sarkari, commonly known as Phil in the industry, stepped down from his position as the Chief Executive Officer of Gati Limited on May 31, 2023. With a strong belief in teamwork, technology adoption, and process-led growth, Phil is recognized as an exceptional leader. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his leadership abilities by setting up the UPS business in India and serving as its Managing Director and Country Head. Later, he joined Mahindra Logistics as CEO, where he successfully built one of the largest and most successful 3PL businesses in India. Phil’s expertise extends to diversifying the logistics business, driving a successful IPO, and achieving transformative growth through both organic and inorganic means. His visionary leadership and business acumen position him to lead Gati toward its next phase of growth, focusing on digital capabilities and expanding core businesses to serve customers better. Alongside his professional accomplishments, Phil is also a Chartered Accountant and has a passion for cooking.
