Marico Renews Saugata Gupta’s Leadership, Adds Rajan Bharti Mittal to Board

Saugata Gupta has been re-appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Marico’s board for a period of two years, beginning on April 1, 2024, and ending on March 31, 2026. Gupta has been associated with Marico since 2004 and has previously served as the Head of Marketing, CEO of India Business, and Managing Director since 2014.

Additionally, Rajan Bharti Mittal has been appointed as an independent director of the company’s board for a term of five years, starting from July 1, 2023, and concluding on June 30, 2028. Mittal holds the position of Vice-Chairman at Bharti Enterprises, a prominent conglomerate with diverse business interests. However, the appointments of both Gupta and Mittal are subject to shareholder approval.
