Debadatta Chand appointed as the MD of BoB

Debadatta Chand, currently serving as executive director at BoB, has been appointed as the MD of BoBeffective from July 1, 2023, or until further orders. The approval for the appointment of new leaders at the Bank of Baroda (BoB) has been granted by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). The appointment will be effective for three years. Debadatta will succeed Sanjiv Chadha, who has been leading BoB since January 2020 and is set to retire on June 30.
