Rajneesh Karnatak Joins Bank Of India As MD, CEO
Bank of India has announced the appointment of Rajneesh Karnatak as its managing director and chief executive officer. With over 29 years of experience in the banking sector, Karnatak previously held key positions such as chief general manager at Punjab National Bank and executive director at Union Bank of India. He has also led various critical divisions including large corporate credit branches, credit monitoring, digital banking, and mid-corporate credit in different banks. Karnatak has extensive exposure in project funding, working capital funding, and risk management with a specific focus on credit risk. He has served on the boards of several organizations such as UBI Services, UBI (UK), Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM) Guwahati, PNB Housing Finance, India SME Asset Reconstruction Company, and IIFCL Asset Management Co (IAMCL). His appointment is expected to lead the Bank of India to new heights and successes.
