3M India Announces Key Leadership Changes Across Board & Management

Nikhil Arora has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of 3M India Limited, effective May 05, 2025.

Radhika Rajan has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director (as the Chairperson of the Board) of the company with effect from March 26, 2025.

Jayanand Vasudeorao Kaginalkar has been appointed as an Executive Director (designated as a Whole-Time Director) of the company, effective April 01, 2025.

Jung Hyun Kim has been appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (Additional Director) of the company, effective April 01, 2025.

Nikhil Arora is a finance leader with over 25 years of experience in driving business growth and maximising profitability. He has held leadership roles in both regional and global CFO positions. Nikhil was the Global CFO at Honeywell Technology Solutions and served as CFO for India and the rest of Asia for Honeywell’s Building Automation business. He has also worked in key leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Thermo Fisher Scientific Life Sciences Solutions Group, Dell India, Dell Singapore, and Hindustan Lever. Arora is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the USA and a Cost and Management Accountant from ICWAI, India.

Jayanand Kaginalkar has over 15 years of experience with 3M, joining the company in 2007 as the Site Manager of the Pimpri Plant in Pune. He later managed the Ranjangaon plant and was deputed to 3M Brazil for international manufacturing experience. Returning to India, he became Manufacturing Operations Manager overseeing all 3M India plants. He later took on roles as Master Black Belt for Lean Six Sigma operations and Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leader for 3M India. Before 3M, he worked with Tata Auto Comp, Sandvik Asia, and MICO (Robert Bosch). Jayanand holds a PGDM in operations from IIM Bangalore and a BE in metallurgical engineering from COEP, Pune.

Jung Hyun Kim is the Human Resources Director for 3M Asia, a role she assumed on September 1, 2023. She brings over 25 years of experience in driving people and talent strategies across Asia. In her current role, she oversees HR operations and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while promoting an inclusive and high-performance culture. Prior to this, she held several senior HR leadership positions, including South East Asia HR Director and North Asia HR Director. Her expertise includes Business Partnering HR, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and HR Solutions, contributing to enhanced employee engagement and organisational effectiveness. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration, specialising in social welfare from Pusan National University.

Andrew Paul Bennett has resigned as a Director of the company effective April 01, 2025, due to various other professional commitments and responsibilities within the 3M Group.

Yun Jin has resigned as a Director of the company effective April 01, 2025, consequent upon her taking up a new role and responsibility within 3M Group.

Bharat D. Shah will cease to be Independent Director of the company upon completion of his final term with effect from March 26, 2025.
