Triveni Engineering Appoints Siraj Azmat Chaudhry as Independent Director

Siraj Azmat Chaudhry has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited on 25 July 2023.

Siraj is presently the Country Chairman of  SATS India. He also serves on the Boards of Air India SATS, Tata Consumers Products, Tata Coffee, DhanukaAgritech, Jubilant Ingrevia, Carrier Air Conditioning and Refrigeration India, and Bikaji Foods International.

Earlier Siraj Azmat Chaudhry led the National Commodity Management Ltd. (NCML) as its MD & CEO and later served as the Chairman and Non-Executive Director until recently.

He has an illustrious career in the agricultural commodity and food sector. Siraj oversaw the establishment and growth of Cargill’s food business in India while serving as Chairman of Cargill India, the Indian subsidiary of Cargill Inc. between 2008 and 2018.

He has previously served as an Independent Director on the IndusInd Bank Board. He graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi with a B. Com (Hons) and possesses an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
