Sudarshan Sen To Serve A Second Term As Independent Director At Federal Bank

Sudarshan Sen has been reappointed as Independent Director of Federal Bank Limited for a second term, effective from February 11, 2025.

Sen has experience of over 36 years working in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)in the areas of banking, finance, and risk management. He has experience as a central banker and in the field of bank supervision and regulation. Sen was elevated to the post of Executive Director of the RBI in the year 2016. He has also chaired the Inter-Regulatory Working Group (WG) on FinTech and the WG on the implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) by banks, constituted by the RBI. Sen holds an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a master’s degree in Mathematics from Delhi University (DU).
