SPARC’s CFO Chetan Rajpara Resigns, Anup Rathi Takes Over

The Board of Directors of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Limited (SPARC) has appointed Anup Rathi as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with effect from June 6, 2024. He replaced Chetan Rajpara, whose resignation was accepted by the Board with effect from June 5, 2024.

Anup Rathi has spent close to 2 years in SPARC as General Manager Finance and Accounts. He has over 17 years of post-qualification work experience as a Chartered Accountant across a wide spectrum of finance functions. Prior to SPARC, he has worked with NRB Bearings Ltd and KEC International Ltd (RPG Group Company) and has worked across multiple areas including Accounts, Finance, Treasury, Taxation, Investments, Banking Relationship. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Company Secretary (CS). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).

Chetan Rajpara has worked with SPARC for over 7 years. Prior to this he has worked with Sun Pharma for almost 24 years and held various finance positions. He started his career with Dharamsi Morarji Chemical (DMCC) as Chief Accountant. He has done PGEMP from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.
