Shubha Singh Appointed Independent Director on Orchid Pharma’s Board

The Board of Directors of Orchid Pharma Limited has approved the appointment of Shubha Singh as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director of the company.

Shubha Singh has 23 years of experience in secretarial, finance and legal functions, primarily in listed companies. Managing and advising various companies in legal and secretarial matters with expertise in corporate and general laws, litigation (civil and criminal), strategising, contracting, agreements, Corporate Governance, restructuring, revenue modelling, and fund raising.

Singh was featured on the cover page of Board Stewardship magazine in the Women’s Day Special edition in March 2024, as were her views on ESG published in the same edition. Singh was honoured with the Best Non-Executive Director Award in the Listed Company category at the MMB Iconic Women Directors of India 2023 conclave. She was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award 2024 for Corporate Excellence in Finance category by IMT CDL at the alumni meet. She was featured in the Alumni Spotlight section of the IMT CDL Alumni Yearbook 2024, which can be accessed at https://www.imtcdl.ac.in/Annual-Alumni-Book-2024/. She has written an article on Viksit Bharat: sustainability and sustainable development, which was published in the ICSI-Chartered Secretary Journal in April 2024. She is a Company Secretary from ICSI, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from ICFAI, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Analysis from ICFAI, an MBA (International Business) from IMT, Ghaziabad, and is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law. B.Com (Hons) from Hansraj College, Delhi University, and has done her schooling at Delhi Public School, Noida. She is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of two listed and four unlisted companies. Chairperson and member of various Board Committees.
