Sanjiv Sachar retires from HDFC Bank Board

Sanjiv Sachar the Independent Director of HDFC Bank Limited has retired on 20 July 2023.

Aged 65, Sachar is a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He currently serves on the boards of KDDL Limited and is the designated partner of Sachar & Sachar LLP. He also co-founded Sachar Vasudeva & Associates, a prominent Chartered Accountancy and Management Consulting firm. Additionally, he was involved in the creation of Direct Impact, an executive search firm. He served as a senior partner of Egon Zehnder till 2016.  Sachar is an active partner of the Delhi chapter of Social Venture Partners, a global philanthropic network. He also acts as the chief mentor for Huddle, an incubator located in Gurgaon.
