Network 18 Appoints Shweta Gupta As Company Secretary

The Board of Directors of Network 18 Media Investments Limited has approved the appointment of Shweta Gupta as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company w.e.f. October 12, 2024. The Board also approved the appointment of Sanchayan Paul as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Senior Management Personnel (SMP) w.e.f. November 1, 2024.

The Board also noted the movement of P. Sakthivel, CHRO, into another role within the company w.e.f. November 1, 2024, and the cessation of Nitten Gupta as the Compliance Officer w.e.f. October 12, 2024, under the appointment of Shweta Gupta as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.

Shweta Gupta is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a law graduate with two decades of experience. Before joining the company, she served as Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and Legal Head at Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited. She has also worked with Hindalco Industries Ltd. and JSW Steel Ltd.

Sanchayan Paul is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of experience. Before his role at Modenik Lifestyle, a PE-backed enterprise, he held positions at organisations such as Reliance Industries, Thomson Reuters, Eicher Consulting Services, Hutchison Essar Telecom, and Vodafone. He also ventured into entrepreneurship by founding KaryaMitr. Sanchayan holds a postgraduate degree in management from XLRI Jamshedpur and is a graduate of Delhi University. He has also completed the Digital Business Leadership Program from Cornell University.
