Gillette India Welcomes C.P. Gurnani, Sanjay Asher, And Srividya Srinivasan To The Board

Chander Prakash Gurnani and Sanjay Asher have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors of Gillette India Limited. Gurnani’s appointment is effective October 15, 2024, while Asher’s appointment is effective September 29, 2024. The shareholders granted approval to this effect on December 3, 2024.

Srividya Srinivasan has been appointed as Executive Director of the company, effective November 1, 2024, with shareholders approval granted on December 3, 2024.

Asher is currently a senior partner in M/s. Crawford Bayley & Co. is the oldest law company in India, having been founded in 1830. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1993 after working as an advocate since 1991. He is a certified chartered accountant as well. His areas of expertise include capital markets, joint ventures, private equity, M&A, and cross-border M&A. Asher graduated from the University of Bombay with a bachelor’s degree in law and commerce.

Gurnani has served as Tech Mahindra’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) until December 2023. He is a business leader with knowledge of start-ups, turnarounds, and worldwide business development. Throughout his more than 40-year career, he has worked in several companies like Perot Systems, HCL Corporation, and Hewlett Packard (HP). In April 2016, he was named Chairman of Nasscom for a one-year tenure. Gurnani graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, with a degree in chemical engineering.
