Ajmera Realty Reappoints Rajnikant Ajmera as CMD, Appoints Shweta Jhawar as CS

The Board of Directors of Ajmera Realty & Infra India Limited has approved the appointment of Shweta Jhawar as Company Secretary, Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with effect from July 13, 2024. She will replace Chandra Prakash Jugani.

The Board of the company has also approved the reappointment of Rajnikant S. Ajmera as Chairman and Managing Director with effect from August 01, 2024 to 31st July, 2029 and who has attained the age of 70 years, subject to Members Approval at the ensuing AGM.

Shweta Jhawar is fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and she has more than 10 years of experience in Corporate Law, SEBI regulations, Corporate Governance, Legal drafting and compliance management in different industries. She has previously worked with Shilpi Thapar and Associates – Company Secretaries, Sekhsaria family office, Independent consultant with listed clients in Real Estate and other industries, projects and assignments offered on Assignment basis which includes Nexus Select Trust which is India’s First listed retail REIT (Blackstone group company).

Rajnikant S. Ajmera is a leading figure of the Ajmera Group of Companies, guiding its remarkable journey for over five decades. With a background in Civil Engineering, he has been pivotal in the group’s evolution, achieving milestones like ISO 9001-2015 certification for excellence. He served as President of MCHI and CREDAI, where he influenced regulatory reforms. He continues to contribute actively to industry bodies and educational institutions, having established several schools. Recognised for his contributions, he received The Lifetime Achievement Award at the 11th Realty+ Excellence Awards 2019.
