Vinyl Chemicals (India) Appoints Sayantan Mallick As CFO, Replacing Mahendra Gayatonde

The Board of Directors of Vinyl Chemicals (India) Limited, a Pidilite Group company, on October 21, 2024, has approved the appointment of Sayantan Mallick as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) w.e.f. November 4, 2024, in place of Mahendra Gayatonde, who is due to retire on October 30, 2024.

The Board has also approved the appointment of Aarti Falorh as Company Secretary (CS) of the company w.e.f. November 4, 2024, in place of P. C. Patel, who will relinquished office on November 4, 2024. Lastly, the Board has noted that K.S. Krishnan will cease to be the Additional Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company w.e.f. October 30, 2024, due to retirement.

Sayantan Mallick is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a Cost Accountant (Member of IOWA). He has overall experience of 12 years in the areas of accounts, taxation, cost audit, hedging, treasury, etc. In the past, he has worked in various organisations like Prism Cement Ltd., L&T, and HUL. Since February 2020, he has been working with Pidilite Group Companies and is in charge of accounting and taxation functions of domestic subsidiaries.

Aarti Falorh is a Company Secretary (fellow member of ICSI). She has an overall experience of 18 years in the areas of Corporate Governance, Compliance, Stakeholder Management, Contract Management etc. In the past, she has worked with companies like Blue Dart Express Ltd. and Total Securities Ltd. and was in charge of secretarial functions.
