Varun Berry reappointed as Executive Vice-Chairman and MD at Britannia

Varun Berry has been reappointed as the Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director at Britannia for a five-year term beginning April 1, 2024, till March 31, 2029.

Varun Berry has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab University. He has more than 32 years of experience running startups, turnarounds, joint ventures, and growth enterprises in prominent firms such as Hindustan Unilever and PepsiCo in India and abroad. He was appointed Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company on February 1st, 2013.

He took over as Managing Director on April 1, 2014. Mr. Varun Berry was named Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director with effect from September 23, 2022, in recognition of his performance and commitment to the company’s growth.
