Uday Chitale Retires As Independent Director Of ICICI Bank

Uday Chitale, Independent Director of ICICI Bank Limited, retires from his position with effect from October 19, 2024.

Chitale is a Chartered Accountant with more than 45 years of professional experience. He served as a Senior Partner at M/s M. P. Chitale & Co. till June 30, 2021. He also works in commercial dispute arbitration and conciliation, and he is an accredited mediator from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, UK). Chitale sits on the panels of numerous arbitration and ADR institutions in India. He served on the global Board of Directors and as Vice President for the Asia Pacific region at DFK International, a worldwide association of accounting firms. Chitale now serves on the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), promoted by SEBI.
